Directions: from the large, main car park by the craft centre, cross the road at the zebra crossing & you will see a narrow lane called Backfold directly ahead of you. Proceed along there & you will see us approx 50 yards ahead -you can't miss us!************************************************************************
If you are coming from the town centre, come along Castle Street until you see the Spar shop. Turn in to the narrow lane next to Spar & go to the right. You will then find us approx 30 yards along, on the left.

A bit about us:
Vintage Mercantile is a shop in Hay-on-Wye. We sell a mixture of things for the home & for the collector, from furniture, textiles & pictures, to lighting, toys & gardenalia.... basically we get to buy & sell the stuff we love & the kind of thing we would like for our own home if we had limitless space! We also sell a small range of new goods.
Hay-on-Wye, which straddles the border between England & Wales, is famous worldwide for its many bookshops & annual Literary Festival. There are also various other shops selling antiques & vintage things in Hay, so if you're in this part of the world, it's well worth a visit, plus of course the surrounding countryside of the Wye Valley, Powys & Herefordshire is very beautiful.
