A really beautiful antique quilt with a different floral print on each side. One side has an art nouveau style, faded floral design in pink shades on deep cream. The other has a wonderful print of pink roses & other flowers on pale blue. The edge of the second side is edged with the fabric from the first side. Although the quilt is machine, rather than hand-quilted, the stitching is of a lovely standard, worked as chevrons from the centre & with the rows close together to give an attractive texture. It has only minimal wear & is still sturdy & substantial. I have just laundered it so it's ready to use. It really is very pretty!
